GUI Mail Client
[1/3] from: jon_saltzman::pitzer::edu at: 4-Dec-2001 10:16
Hi all!
As I seem to be hearing a lot about people working on mail clients these past two days,
I thought I'd reassure myself that I'm not trying to duplicate work done by others..
I have a pretty functional GUI mail client in the works, it's about 65% completed, and
I just want to see if anyone either wants to collaborate on it with me, or whatsoever
- if so, I'll put it up on the web and we can work on it together.
Please, let me know!

Hi Jon,
You might also check out the Yahoo RebMail group. We've all kind of lost
focus since September but, as you say, it looks like lots of folks are
working on mail clients.

I am actually working, with Phil Bevan, on the making of
a Rebol Mailer, we were part of the RebMail project that is
sleeping from September.
Phil has made a nice GUI while I was working on a /core
only mail filter. I'm actually joining the sources while
Phil is in England and can't work on the mailer.
If you want to join you are welcome!
I have changed the GUI to browse my archive and filtered
mail, added some newsgroups handling to the "download" script
but I still miss: threading, sending and composing email.
Sorry for the delay, the mail server was messed up in
the past days. >:[

Mario
