upcoming rebol products and changes in VID?

Hi,
just looking at screenshots at http://www.rebol.com/reblets.html suggest,
that not so much was done in VID itself? Still the same look as before -
sliders without arrow buttons, flat, non gradiented buttons, if you change
color, etc.
The question is - was VID itself adressed in any way? :-)

While I agree VID needs a lot more refining by RT, one of us could've
extended the slider style with arrow buttons a long time ago, and
extended many other features of VID too while retaining the current
functionality. (Meaning VID scripts would still work without the
extensions included.) I bet RT are scratching their heads as to why
this isn't happening! (: Well, it's because there's no decent docs
of course, (ie, a View book), and I'm sure some have done such things
anyway, but I haven't noticed any consistantly used extended styles
in the scripts I see, else sliders with buttons would be the norm by
now, I'm sure.

Exactly what I meant in the Rebol Framework suggestion, developers here
should work on libraries others could re-use. RT gave us tools, let's use
these to buils other tools ;)

Except the manuals for the tools leave a bit to be desired, at least
for View. I currently can't be bothered going to too much trouble
with the GUIs I build, as it just takes way too long to find the
important View/VID info, let alone the finer details needed to make
really good GUIs.
