[] Unowned scripts

 [1/1] from: SunandaDH::aol::com at: 5-Dec-2003 12:16

I've just gone through an exercise to allocate obvious scripts to Library members. You may now find that you have more scripts that you did before. But we still have 280 scripts with no obvious owner. If any of them are yours, and you'd like to claim them, then the instructions are a bit further down this email. To see the unclaimed scripts, use: (You can also get to that link via the About link, which is on the top left of every page). If you own a script, you can updated it. You can also see statistics like how often it has been downloaded or viewed. You can add documentation, and moderate any discussion postings about it. And you'll be helping to reduce our orphans! Claiming a script If you are not a member of the Script Library, click the Join link near the top left of and follow the instructions. You'll be joining a great bunch of people! If you are a member, then: -- log onto the Library -- cut'n'paste the script names you want to claim into the "Scripts you want to claim" box on this page: Control panel / Claim or assign ownership of your scripts -- If there are already script names in that box, then *add* the new ones, rather than overwriting them. -- Give it a day or so for Gregg or me to do the magic -- If you want an automated notification when we've done it, then: visit the Control panel / Update profile; set the "When someone grants me ownership" tickbox; set the Notices triggers to something that makes sense to you. Thanks! Sunanda
