help with ipx protocol setup please

Hi all, I just got started using Rebol 4 days ago so please be gentle...:) I'm trying to replace a telnet emulator that uses ipx into our legacy Pick database system. Can anyone help me to get the IPX protocol set up in the core module so that I can try and get to the database. I have all the settings the other program uses in it's config.ini file. I just don't know where to put them... ( i'm trying to replace the old terminal emulator because of a bug that 'hangs' the data transfer between Pick and (gasp) dos. It only happens on data transfers between Pick and Dos, We are the only company in the Universe who has this bug in our system.). Please don't point me towards Jeff's "writing a protocol..a mini intro". I already have that msg downloaded. What I need is some help in getting the settings for the system (ie use 802.3 version, ethernet irq = 0x02, ethernet io = 0x380, blah blah blah...). I have about 3 pages of settings that I can play around with from the ini file but I don't know where to put them in the scheme (or wherever it goes). thx for any help.....newbie alert...be gentle please alan otterstad (8 years pgming experience...all in Basic (double gasp))
