[ANN] Serve-It! v2.0.1, update-release

A new, updated release of Serve-It!, a fast, reliable, coop-threading server-engine featuring several HTTP & PROXY-server in one smart progamm is available at: http://www.TGD-Consulting.de/Download.html The new v2.01 release fixes a bug in the handling of REBOL-CGI scripts. Use a sample CGI-script, e.g. %test.r - recently added to the REBOL Script Library at rebol.org - to test and demonstrate the CGI facility of Serve-It!. To see what have changed at all look at the "History"-log. Serve-It! requires REBOL/View. Tested and developed with REBOL/View 1.2.1.1.1 on AmigaOS 68k. Best viewed with REBOL/View 1.2.1.3.1 on MS Windows Professional. But it should work on any other platform. As little as 85 kB it gives you full featured, fast HTTP & PROXY-Server with little load and impact on your system. You can use the HTTP-Server part of Serve-It! for hosting multiple WWW-sites, serving large files and all sorts of other content. Serve-It! is Nessus approved and does not have any of the leaks most common web-server have. Features: ====== - HTTP/1.0 compliant! - manages up to 9 independent HTTP- or PROXY-server instances - fast & stable - easy to configure - optional command line usage - authentication and access restrictions (IP-based) - separate logging for each server-instance (configurable) - fast server toggle to activate server-instances with "one" mouse-click - HTTP-Server supports: * multiple name-based-virtual hosts * dynamic content (REBOL CGI-Scripts) * progressive download of large files * ... - PROXY-Server supports: * access/deny filter * ... USAGE: ===== Just start ServeIt.r to run the programm in normal View-mode (with GUI). The command line usage is: ServeIt.r All fields are optional. Supported options are: --help (-?)
