Cal Dixon's Rem editor

Hi All,
Does anyone out there use Cal Dixon's REM editor? I discovered it recently
and it seems like a very useful tool. The only problem I have found with it
is that the search function does not work.
I'm wondering about the status might be of this editor, i.e., if there is
a later version, or if anyone has developed it further.
