Great idea!
After reloading your index I can see your welcome (but you __HAVE__
to change the backdrop image).
Anyway, when I tried to cut&paste your code to adapt it to a local
folder of mine, all I got was REBOL crashing as soon as I try to open
that folder. Strange enough.
I'll study it a bit later.
Greetings

Made me laugh! So true about so many things. I see that you have fully
recovered from the flu.

Hi Richard,
Excellent .... managed to get it to work on a local folder here ....
If you visit the your site a second time (or my local folder) the code doesnt get executed
:-(
Any ideas on how to fix that?
Cheers Phil

Yes, thankfully! :) Although I'm still catching up on lost time here and
there. It has put back the release of ROACH, and got in the way of me
writing some /zine articles... Know where I can get another 12 hours in
the day from? :)
Or at least a few roudtoits?

Ok I stand corrected.
It seems to be working now. Using the 'start flag was crucial I suspect :-)

The 'start flag is needed for not re-executing the code when desktop face is
redrawn(since the effect is rendered on every moving the mouse on icons and
the title text. Maybe RT should consider to not show the whole desktop area
but only show the icon face when is mouse over).
The main problem of crash you have experience was that I tried to read
http://... Looks like the desktop doesnot like that ;-) Anyway I'll try to
investigate some workaround for that or maybe someone know the solution?

Excellent!! But, I still think that ppl ought to:
view/offset layout 50x50
on their scripts. Maybe their should be a default location from inside
the view desktop to place new windows??
Just blowin' hot air.
Enjoy!!
