View/Pro feature

 [1/5] from: rondon:andrade:uol at: 22-Aug-2001 10:31

Hi Folks! I've bought View/Pro, but I've realized that it doesn't have https:// support. Do I have to buy the Command/View? Is there any possibility of upgrading to a new version or to Command/View? I'm just missing the SSL, because this is a Pro version. It seems that we have so many versions of /View: Rebol/View, Rebol/View/Pro, Rebol/Command/View. Any news about that ? Thanks in advance Rondon

I know Maarten about the Command/View. But I bought View/Pro thinking that it was the last version. I'd like to know about an option to upgrade my View/pro to Command/view. Do you know what I mean? --Rondon

Then you should ask rebol.com , I guess. They are the ones who are selling.... --Maarten On Wednesday 22 August 2001 16:34, you wrote:

Since you have the ability to use external libraries in View/Pro, you could create a dialect for https using openssl: http://www.openssl.org/ I don't think that academic end-users should have to pay over $300 just to get https support. Just my personal opinion. Carl Youngblood
