[ALLY] On Load View Action

I have a prototype page that shows a series of questions and want to hide some of the questions until some pre-requisite answers are in place. I used layout to create them pages and hiding them and displaying them based on the decision stack that I hold is easy enough in View. But I don't see how to set an initial state when the layout is initially load i.e. just trigger one function. i.e. I do it now with a "Start" button.
