Sort is merely the tip of the iceberg

I think this lively discussion on sorting is very healthy for the Rebol community .. In my experience, the introduction of a new whiz-bang language/interpreter into a corporate environment can go one of 3 ways: 1. Total success Used wisely and by people who are aware of the dangers of poorly coded algorithms. 2. Average Nothing poorly coded, and no tremedously large data files involved. 3. Total failure Used for everything, poorly coded, and applied to hideously large data files. I have seen mainframe computers dragged down using Edit and regular expressions. I have seen APL proliferate throughout a corporation and become a hero so to speak. You don't want the operations group finally determining that it is the several USERS who are coding Rebol things that are wrecking overall performance. Dick
