Problem with caret

Hi List, Working a bit with area, using Carl text-edit.r as a base, I have got a lot of errors involving the caret (I should have noted!). The problem seems to occur when the text is too big for the face, and after the text has been changed two or three times. zmail: area 640x480 with [ color: 240.240.240 font: [name: font-fixed] feel: make feel [redraw: none] ] para [origin: 4x4] I must confess that the feel and para parts on this is very obscure to me. Any idea where I can find light ? ciao Pat Note: the point of all this is to write a small email editor to get rid of Outlook Express. So it's for a good cause, isn't it ?
