newbie - How to read / write to Windows Console? REBOL/Core REBOL/View

Downloaded REBOL/Core, wrote a script file:
REBOL [ Title: "Hello World"]
print "hello world"
Tried to run the script file, from the windows xp
console:
>rebol -w hello.r
Nothing! So I downloaded and installed REBEL/View.
>rebol -w hello.r
Nothing!
How do you get a script to output to Windows Console?
