Nicolas Fournier just sent me a patched version. You can get it here:
http://trees.turbulence.org/tools/Maoww_english_0.1b.r

Is that URL correct? I'm getting a "no DNS entry found".

Yes its correct, but I have noticed sometimes it skips..
I need to check the zone tables to see why.
Please try again, [refresh] but use this one instead.
The zip is better and bundles the text file:

Has anyone seen a "There has been an error, 500 Unresolvable address. Address appears
to loop back to me."?
The window comes up and all the contacts appear in the list (or most, I'm not sure) and
then this error stops it
cold. I'll have to track it down further...

Thanks Jason - that worked.
The password problem is fixed. I have to use Ctrl C to close the
REBOL Console window after Quiting though. (That's when started from
the Console, anyway.) And I did have a menu stay open for some
reason once, but I can't seem to duplicate what caused that.
It looks the basis of a good program though. Fast when sending
messages to myself anyway. (;

[carl-read--jabber--org]
I think they were wrong to use @ in the id. Hmmm. Unless you can
send emails to it...
Well, not to jabber.org, anyway. Tried and it bounced. I guess you
can do with some Jabber servers though. Is that correct?
