About distributed computing

Hello Folks, I've downloaded the Rebol/View executable and really enjoyed the technology and the samples that have been created. I'm developing a couple GPL solutions focused on build management, and software development life cycle processes. Rebol looks to me to have many of the features needed in todays development environment. I'm interested in knowing if anyone is aware of other projects that are solving part or most of these problems, and specifically if Rebol is being used? Also in reading thru some of the email archives, I did see some discussion in the areas of a plug-in for browser support. Has anyone discussed embedding the Gecko engine in a Rebol application?
