Enhancement for Desktop ...

 [1/3] from: petr:krenzelok:trz:cz at: 19-Apr-2001 20:27

Hi, I would find usefull file timestamps to be part of index files. I somehow miss possibility to see "what's new" or "changed" from my last visit ... ..is it achievable? -pekr-

yes. this would be useful. I'd personally like to see different ways to view files (tree, list, zoomable, etc) in future versions of view. Once you get 100s of reblets, it becomes difficult to browse and navigate icons. Another nice addition might be a find feature. rishi --- Petr Krenzelok <[petr--krenzelok--trz--cz]> wrote:

You can add timestamps to your index.r file. See AllenK's site "R-Forces" for an example. I think when you update the index file then the desktop has a way to know when a datestamped link is out of date, therefore it can then update the file when you click on it, instead of just going to the public cache.
