I definitely agree that REBOL has a number of aspects that make it
attractive for grid and/or p2p computing (they are not the same thing).
However, the article's comment that fast networks are required is totally
fallacious - the needs of compute versus communication are
application-dependent; SETI for example, uses hours of compute time versus
only seconds or minutes of communication, as it is very compute-bound. It
is, however, undoubtedly a grid-based distributed-computing application.
