FLI Viewer

 [1/4] from: olivier::auverlot::ac-lille::fr at: 18-Jul-2001 13:51

I have just completed the first release of a FLI viewer. You can download it from http://rebolfrance.multimania.com. It's just a preliminary version. There's still a lot of work to do ;-) Regards Olivier

Just for completeness (it was not fast to find some .FLI files) a few links to some animations and programs to make them: http://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/animation.html http://www.aos.wisc.edu/weather/content/ngm_model/ http://www.google.com/search?q=.fli+animation&hl=en&safe=off&start=20&sa=N Nimenhao Mario

Olivier, I tried some examples from http://www.aos.wisc.edu/weather/content/ngm_model/ (thanks to Cassani Mario) which didn't work. But, I found that if each of the poke statements in fli-viewer-0.4.r is encased like so: if error? try [ poke ... ][] ; do nothing for pixels out of range Then you are able to see at least one frame. I hope this will allow you, Olivier, to see what is going on and to improve the viewer. Regards, Anton.

I found the Venus one from there works, but I've not found any others that do yet. These look pretty impressive... http://crusty.er.usgs.gov/index.html and are supposed to be the same format, but their extensions are different. I tried one, but it generated an error, though I suspect it almost worked.
