[ALLY] 'query bug crashes windows /view

 [1/1] from: arolls::bigpond::net::au at: 4-Mar-2001 19:16

Hi people, I have found a bug with 'query in REBOL/View 0.10.38.3.1 26-Jan-2001 (latest Windows experimental) It doesn't affect REBOL/Core 2.4.40.3.1 23-Jan-2001 (latest Windows experimental) I have a directory with some files in it. %/d/anton/music/sounds/soundcat/ The wav files in this directory are reported as dated in the year 2080 by Windows 2k explorer (probably because they are so old). Anyway, if you do this to one of these files; target: make port! %SOUND1.WAV query target rebol/view shuts down and a popup window appears: Program Error ! rebol.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. [ OK ] If I perform the test on a new file (, with a reasonable date,) the problem doesn't happen. If I perform the test on a "futuristic" file in /Core, then target/date == none, but doesn't crash. I have attached the smallest of the problematic files. p.s. I discovered the problem via; 'dir? -> 'info? -> 'query Anton. -- Binary/unsupported file stripped by Listar -- -- Type: audio/wav -- File: SOUND1.WAV
