REBOL Scripting Books and Memorabilia collection on EBay

 [1/6] from: bob:paddock:gmai:l at: 27-Nov-2007 21:22

I had been away from REBOL for a long while, and my wife is has been nagging me to get rid of "stuff". The thread "Who read this mailing list?" and the page http://www.rebol.com/article/0343.html that comes across to me as "we never studied how to do proper software development, so we are doing our own thing, and it is going badly", has pushed me over the edge. My collection of classic REBOL books and Memorabilia is now on EBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120179534500 So Long and Thanks for all of the Fish... -- http://www.wearablesmartsensors.com/ http://www.softwaresafety.net/ http://www.designer-iii.com/ http://www.unusualresearch.com/

There's nothing worse than a nagging wife .. you made the wrong choice on what to put on eBay! On Nov 28, 2007 3:22 PM, Bob Paddock <bob.paddock-gmail.com> wrote:

I don't know Graham - I note there's no REBOL/Core User Guide there. Me thinks his wife should do a search for an orange book... -- Carl Read. On Wednesday, 28-Novenber-2007 at 16:51:21 Graham Chiu wrote,

Those of you looking for a handy reference, I heartily recommend Ralph Robert's book, REBOL for Dummies. Elan's Official Guide has some great nuggets in there as well, although it contains a lot more on "software development" and devotes a lot of ink to creating a hypothetical project. Both books appear to be available on Half.com for mere shekels, but think of the peace you would be bringing to the Paddock household...

If Mr. Paddock had any sense he'd be auctioning the notepad a page at a time. That's the trouble round here - nobody knows how to sell! -- Carl Read.
