dialects for communication?

 [1/1] from: petr::krenzelok::trz::cz at: 24-Apr-2001 6:51

Hi, Carl, I found following in press release: Applications inter-communicate using REBOL dialecting, a unified, secure method for the exchange of semantic information between all types of computer systems. Dialects offer greater expressivity and control over the information and functions that are being exchanged. So, will we get any "standardised" mechanisms to communicate using dialecting? E.g. client and server negotiate communication dialect (protocol), it's version, compression used (or not used), protocol home (to allow client to download it imediatelly), and other factors (could be done via objects), and further from that point all communication would be done via dialecting? Hmm, seems like there is really a lot of potential in dialecting - finally human protocols could be introduced to Internet :-) -pekr-
