View bug?

View does not re-open as "maximised" on win2k.
Not sure how it behaves on other platforms.
These are the steps I took :
1. Open View.
- this will open a View which is not maximised.
2. Click on "Maximised" button
3. Click "Quit" on View
4. Open View again.
- this will open View the same size as a "Maximised"
window, however, View is not in "Maximised" mode
I just feel that maybe View should also remember that
I last "Maximised" it. Here, it seems View only
remembers the last size that I set it to.

That is the nature of the beast! I agree with you, it should open in
maximized mode, BUT it is not high on my priorities list. I would lots
sooner see things like a 3D engine, Font Engine...

It behaves the same way on Windows 98. It's annoying to me. I've notified
feedback.
