Suggestion for Rebol

I don't post much on this list but I have some time free today and decide to post some thoughts. One of the things that I like RT to work on will be better handling of proxy on View and specifically for the MS platforms. Currently, we have to key in the proxy settings. It would be good if it can take settings from windows or MSIE. Example. I'm a remote user and work from home, office or while travelling. All these various locations can have different proxy settings. Proxy at work place, no proxy at home and proxy of ISP while travelling. Now, let's take this a step further. What if I have 2 work places. Each work places has its own proxy. This could possibly give rise to chained-proxy issues. At least, that's what happening to me on the web browser. Only MSIE is able to goes through the various proxy setting automatically. Netscape, Opera, Mozilla fails to do so and requires additional authentication. I can think of another example. Not just using View. But think about Rebol IOS. I would think that it is build on the fundamentals of what Rebol Core/View has. Now a user using the IOS and its reblets moving around. Is the user require to change proxy settings etc while on the move? As a user, I would appreciate NOT having to configure stuffs while on the move and focus on getting work done. Another suggestion is Unicode support. I understand that RT has it on their to-do list. Perhaps they can share with us more on that. Eg. Tcl strings are UTF-8 and I think Java strings are UTF-16 (I may be wrong) YekSoon a user from city-state-country, Singapore
