I am sure it is possible, though.
Aren't they using SOAP on MS hotmail?
And that uses xml (therefore able to be
parsed by rebol?)

actually Hotmail uses an extended version of webDAV, this is compatible
with Exchange and Outlook.
Here is an example using c#

This extended version of webDAV is undocumented by MS.
However, there is some documentation by folks who have spent their time
hacking the format: here
