REBOL on OSX
[1/7] from: carl::s::rebol::com at: 5-Nov-2002 16:20
This OSX question is by far the MFAQ (m: most). The answer is
yes. Yes! We will support REBOL/View and other REBOL products on OSX.
Personally, for me, OSX (server version, I've not tried the other) reminds
me a lot of what I liked about the Amiga. A very nice environment.

..and maybe in the meantime you have an alpha-beta something 8)
Have a nice day

Now if they only made it for Intel, I'd buy it...

Does it mean you no more believe in Amiga OS4 resurrection? :-) Better
don't answer this one, or some amiga freak here will quote you on all
various amiga forums :-)
As for View - am I right thinking the priority is as follows?
1. Windows
2. MacOSx
3. Linux
4. ? (PocketPCs and other mobile devices?)
5. ?

access to QuickTime? Could you explain a bit here? Because, Rebol has
several native "port/scheme" mechanisms, which work in a cross-platform
fashion, as sound, encryption, odbc, etc, but no such link to media
formats.
Maybe you could link to QuickTime thru some libraries using /Pro?

I don't think anyone with half an ounce of sense believes in an Amiga
resurrection.
Certainly not without the backing of a major corporation, huge amounts
of cash and lots of time...
