I quite like this dialect approach: Menu [ File "File" #"F" [ New "New" #"N" Save-As "Save As" #"A" Exit "Exit" #"x" ] Edit "Edit" "#E" [ Cut "Cut" #"t" Copy "Copy" #"c" ] ] Then: Menu/Edit/Cut refers to the Cut menu item in the Edit menu in the File Menu.
