Comparing dates - need help

Hi list, Need some help on this. Can�t understand why NOW is greater then TO-DATE a/2.

== "2009-04-24 09:30:00"

>> to-date a/2

== 24-Apr-2009/9:30

>> now

== 24-Apr-2009/9:27:13-3:00

>> now >= to-date a/2

== true

Hello, maybe because of timezone? ->> n: to-date "24-Apr-2009/14:41:00+2:00" == 24-Apr-2009/14:41+2:00

== false

>> now

If you want to ignore the timezone... (to-date join now/date ["/" now/time]) >= to-date a/2
