Is This Mailing List Alive?

 [1/8] from: berniegs:prodigy at: 20-Dec-2004 14:42

Hi, I just subscribed to this mailing list. From what I see on http://www.rebol.net/list/, it appears that there hasn't been any traffic on it since July 26, 2004. Is anyone still posting here? Bernie Schneider The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you will be lonely often and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. -- Friedrich Nietzsche --

That archive stopped. This one keeps going.... http://www.rebol.org/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/rebol/ml-index.r ......though it may be up to a week behind these days. This mailing list keeps going, but the software behind it has been very sick for about a month. Sunanda

The list is alive but not well, because there are certain strange problems going on, so it might not register the latest posts. -- Regards Henrik Mikael Kristensen

I think people are trying... :-) A change of mailing list software may be in order. Maybe Selma, maybe Mailman?

Hi Bernie, Alive, but not running well lately. Earlier this year, they had some issues (spam, service, configs) and changed things to try and improve it. Still problematic, and only they know how much effort they can afford to put into it. Much traffic has move to AltME worlds (get AltME from Safeworlds.com then go to the REBOL world and sign in as guest:guest to get an account). -- Gregg
