I Have an un-expired /View

 [1/11] from: robbo1mark::aol::com at: 29-Mar-2001 6:23

Everybody, don't quite know how this happened but I stillhave 2 unexpired REBOL/View copies still fully working & functional. They are Beta 4 and REBOL/View 0.10.38.3.1 2-Oct-2000. Somehow these have managed to escape. Does anybody want me to send them a copy i=until the new products are out? note these are for Windows platforms only. cheers, Mark Dickson

REBOL has posted a version (by mistake, I think) of /View BETA 4 without a expiration-date. It was the version, REBOL downloaded when clicking on the update button. This version will not expire. CU, Frank

I have posted these at the OSCAR-project for general inspection & download for those interested in "antique" REBOL's, I believe Daan Oosterveld also has some REBOL 1.x versions which I will encourage him to place here also. Note you may need to open a yahoo membership if you don't already have one? here's the URL where the old REBOL/View's are http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSCAR-PROJECT/files/REBOL-ARCHIVE/ cheers, Mark Dickson In a message dated Thu, 29 Mar 2001 9:10:39 AM Eastern Standard Time, Michal Kracik <[kracik--mbox--dkm--cz]> writes: << Hi, seems I have it as well by luck :-) REBOL/View 0.10.38.3.1 2-Oct-2000 Copyright 2000 REBOL Technologies. I think you should review the licence terms under which you received this. From memory I believe that you do NOT have the right to distribute these particular binaries. If I'm correct you will need to remove them from your server very quickly. That's the technical point. The good-community-member point is that RT has worked so well with the community. It would be an act of bad faith towards them to deny their their intellectual property rights. Brett, Iam most definately *NOT* trying to abuse licenses or steal anybodies intellectual property, rather be a good-community-member & help fellow REBOL's until /Link-Pro etc. become available next week? Iam not distributing *any* files to anyone, simply stating that I've placed my files in a public archive, is that different? i don't know? if RT folks want them removed then I'll DO that, why not wait & see what they say first? I have to agree with Mark here. How am I supposed to develop my apps without any R/View available? David --- [Robbo1Mark--aol--com] wrote:

that would be nice to have.
