New user--viable rebol application?

Hello. I am new to Rebol, but intrigued by what little I know so far. My immediate question is whether Rebol is a good candidate for a project I need to do. I was planning to use Perl, but I would like some experienced Rebol opinions. There are three aspects to the project: a set of images (tiff files) a set of text files (one to one mapping to above image files) a list of email addresses The goal is to send the appropriate combined (in some sense) text and image file as an attachment to the appropriate email address. Those driving the project insist that there be only one attachment and that it must include the text and image. My initial thoughts are to convert the image and text files to a pdf, and go from there, but I am soliciting "rebolized" thinking. I hope this is not too long or inappropriate for this forum.
