list members with virus infections

 [1/2] from: gchiu::compkarori::co::nz at: 5-May-2004 8:43

People on the list have virus infections as I am getting viruses being sent "from", and dockimbel etc. Fortunately, the virii do not know that it should include "[REBOL]" in the subject line! This person seems to be in poland ... W32.Beagle (Dockimbel <[dockimbel--free--fr]>) Received: from ( []) This one from France ... W32.Netsky Received: from ( []) by (CLEAR Net Mail) This one from Hungary W32.Netsky ([rebmaster--rebol--com]) Received: from ( []) by (CLEAR Net Mail) This one from the States W32.Netsky ([han--rebol--com]) Received: from ( []) Bitdefender, the antivirus program used by ecartis, also may need updating as it reported that a binary i sent had no virus - but of course I never sent it, and most likely it did have a virus attachment. -- Graham Chiu

Thanks Graham. Ok, here's my basic advice for securing WinXP boxes. (That means - taking some steps on the never-ending road to a secure windows box.) - AVG antivirus - Spybot Search & Destroy (A free and great program) - AdAware 6 (free version) - ZoneAlarm and also constant vigilance... Anton.
