Rebol Rookie looking for help in reading in unix log files and then
searching
for specific data. I can read the files in O.K. but I am not sure where to
go
for searching them.
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "unix log files". The "unix" either means simply
that they are generated/reside on a unix box, which wouldn't make any
diff, or that the log files have some particular format, which wouldn't be
a show-stopper.
As a starting point for extracting data, have a look at 'parse.

Why don't you post a (small) example of
a log file that you're interested in,
and explain also which data in it you
want. Just a page of data should be
sufficient.
Then we can look see if it's easy to
extract for you.
