do any of the cellphone / SMS examples still work?

 [1/3] from: degroot:acm at: 24-Oct-2001 5:57

Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I cannot get any of the cellphone/SMS examples to work. The sites seem to have changed from when the Rebol codes were written. Am I missing something? And are there some newer code examples available? I need one badly for a university class I am teaching in the Netherlands. Thank you in advance. Doug DeGroot

He's usually around here, so hopefully he'll chime in. --Gregg

Hi, The latest code examples are on sites/compkarori I haven't tested them recently. If they don't work it is because: 1. the provider has withdrawn the service 2. the provider has changed the user interface ( eg. one of them changed to use javascript to create hidden form variable values ) 3. the provider now charges ( eg. the SoapSMS provider is now a chargeable service ) I'm afraid that free sms services are a moving target, but you should be able to use the examples to code your own. -- Graham Chiu
