 [1/6] from: james:mustard at: 17-Jan-2003 19:35

Hi all IOS people, has anyone else been having trouble connecting to the Rebol IOS server for the last 9 hours or so? Ammon? Greg? ... James.

The error I am getting when trying to connect is as follows: 1. DNS lookup complete 2. Attempting server connection 3. Server connection complete 4. HTTP error: 500 Internal error in REBOL/IOS CGI Proxy Does this mean the IOS service I am trying to connect to is down? James.

Which one? I haven't had trouble connecting to any of them at all. ;-) Enjoy!! Ammon Johnson CIO of Addept ---------- (www.addept.ws) 435.616.2322 ---------- (ammon AT addept.ws)

That can mean a number of things... Try opening the CGI-Proxy in a web browser, to do this go into link-root/servers.r and combine the Host value of the server you are trying to connect to and the path for example, developer would be: http://developer.express.rebol.net/cgi-bin/publicproxy which interestingly enough returns a 500 error as you experienced, but I can still connect just fine. I wonder why. This simply means that the proxy script isn't functioning properly... Enjoy!! Ammon Johnson CIO of Addept ---------- (www.addept.ws) 435.616.2322 ---------- (ammon AT addept.ws)

Or it could mean that Serve isn't running... Enjoy!! Ammon Johnson CIO of Addept ---------- (www.addept.ws) 435.616.2322 ---------- (ammon AT addept.ws)
