Rugby and Rebol/IOS

Where do you position Rugby compared to the upcoming Rebol/IOS ?
Will Rugby have overlaping features/functionality or it will be a nice
add-on?
TIA Sanyi

I am not authorative on IOS, but as for Rugby:
Rugby is and will be middleware for Rebol.
It is both an add on to IOS that enables you to easily write client-server
and P2P applications, andsomething to use as is without IOS.
>From what I understand from IOS it is about application and information
exchange and synchronization on the business level. Rugby is a programmer's
library with lots of nifty features.
Theoretically you could build an IOS-like thing on top of Rugby, although you
shouldn't ;-)
As Rugby connect Rebols and IOS does as well, there may be some technical
overlappings.
But:
- Rugby will not do synchronization etc.
- Rugby does both C/S and P2P

Rugby is free, while we don't know RT's policy still :-)
Well, Maarten, you should think about what to add to Rugby in the future. MS
empire plans on some Indigo middleware, to be released in 2003. We have advantage
here. If we can popularize Rugby, there will be no need for Indigo :-)
