Cerebrus 0.9.8
[1/1] from: gchiu::compkarori::co::nz at: 9-Nov-2002 16:14
A new version is now available at
http://www.compkarori.com/cerebrus/index.html
Changes include:
1. TOP command now supported .. so that you could
conceivably delete spam off your POP3 server without
having to download the whole message
2. A 'Cerebrus-reason:' header is now added to all email
telling you why it either allowed the mail in, or labelled
it as spam
3. DNS based open relay lookup, or blacklisted servers
lookup, rather than via http. Currently this is hardcoded
to SpamCop.net, but will in future be user configurable.
The documentation is still without screen shots.
Note that if you are currently running a previous version,
on start up, it will offer to download the new unzipped
version at 538321 bytes, or you can just download the
zipped version at 350703 bytes at
http://www.compkarori.com/cerebrus/cerebrus.zip
Suggestions, bug reports etc. welcome.
