launch/secure-cmd - yeah. What does it do?

I've been wondering that too.
You can see it used in ctx-edit
of the viewtop code.
In only two files of the released viewtop source:
- vt-editor.r
- vt-launch.r, eg.
do-file: does [
save-edit
either link? [start-app/method this-file 'doer] [launch/secure-cmd
this-file]
]
I guess we have to experiment to see what a
file launched with launch/secure-cmd can and
cannot do.
Anton.
