[REBOL] Plugin release?

Hi,
I have been following the thing about the plugin on and off, but I was just
wondering....
What's holding RT back from releasing this version public and then improve
on the plugin in new releases? Once the thing works, with or without blank
page (which I think can be intercepted with Javascript?) you can greatly
enlarge your audience.
Considering what Rebol is already offering in functionality people will live
with that for a 1.0 release?
Or isn't is 'creeping elegant' enough yet? ;-)
