[REBOL] View LAN connection
From: trader-boy::hotpop::com at: 6-Jun-2001 10:16
Hi Rebols!
I have a small LAN (3 computers) that i use View desktop on
and want to be able to use my local Apache server to serve the
index files, etc. It works fine when i am connected the Internet and
have clicked "local", BUT i don't want to *have* to be Internet
connected to get pages from my local webserver.
Also, i want to be able to change files once on the server. Right
now i have a bewildering set of changes in 2 different caches and
on the server because of this situation.
1. How can i get Rebol View to recognize that it is connected to
the LAN but not to the Internet?
2. When you right click on a file in the desktop and click edit how
can i get it to change the file on my local Apache server (the path
is correct, but the editor opens the cache copy)?
