[REBOL] Reading suggestion about the Haskell language implementations

From: gerardcote::sympatico::ca at: 4-Apr-2003 17:54

Hi Ladislav, recently I've also began part-time study fo formal grammars and language implementations. Since you seem interested and better prepared than myself to the task, let me suggest 2 very interesting readings (according to my pov) about 2 different implementations done in 1990 and 1993 for the Haskell language and the criticisms of the implementor M. Spinellis had to formulate about some of the design choices done by the designers of the language. His 2 reports can be found here : 1990 http://www.dmst.aueb.gr/dds/pubs/thesis/MEng/html/haskell.pdf 1993 http://www.dmst.aueb.gr/dds/pubs/jrnl/1993-StrProg-Haskell/html/exp.html May be this can be useful too to others interested in the design and implementation of computer languages. Regards, -- Gerard
