[REBOL] Installing Rebol on a virtual server

From: greywolf::greyfade::net at: 20-Sep-2000 2:46

I have been talking to my host about setting up Rebol on the server, but the tech guy seems like he just has no clue what I'm talking about when I gave him the installation instructions off the site. >_< I *REALLY* want to convince these guys that this software won't hurt the server, but I honestly don't know enough about Rebol to do this. Or at least it seems so. Can anyone give me ideas or something so I can talk him into it? ;) I'll probably end up forwarding any correspondence to him, so whatever help anyone can give me would be great. The most recent message said: From what you have stated, the Rebol sounds as if it functions best on WIN environments. However, even if we install an Apache version or a Linux port, the chances are that this setup will require more resources that what is availiable on a Virtual Host account and would more than likely be better off on a dedicated server. However if you wish us to install this you will need to provide documentation as well as the actual software and we will review it prior to any setup. Jason And before you ask, I can't afford a dedicated server. >_< -- Charles Banas
