http://www.qnx.com/news/pr/sep29_00-dwnl.html Heh, what a pity > 200k people can't try REBOL/View .... But, at least, I think it was work of greenboy to help REBOL here :-) There are basic packages coming with RtP release, not mentioned :-) -pekr-

The rebol/core that is available is seems buggy. First off, It doesn't ask you for all network info such as pop server (only asks for smtp). Had to enter this manually. upgrade feature doesn't work either. It says something like this is not a valid version of rebol. Is this an experimental release or an official release? Hopefully View will make it before the end of the year. Rishi Previously, you ([petr--krenzelok--trz--cz]) wrote:

REBOL/Core never asks for the POP server, on any platform.

The upgrade feature in CORE only works for release versions, not for experimental builds.

Anything you download from xpers.html is experimental. -- Holger Kruse [holger--rebol--com]

What about...
>> ? set-net
USAGE: SET-NET settings DESCRIPTION: Network setup. All values after default are optional. Words OK for server names. SET-NET is a function value. ARGUMENTS: settings -- [email-addr default-server pop-server proxy-server proxy-port-id proxy-type] (Type: block)

Or am I confused over the phrase "...asks for..."? Just curious here. -jn-

HI Petr. (just for the record, no offence taken) theres more than Greenboy in Phx you know, as it happens the REBOL thing (and many more), was and is my doing, I`v pushed REBOL to the QNX and 3rd partys of thier OS for a very long time, perhaps as far back as nov 98, and i have encuraged Carl with the benifits of QNX ports of TR products well before they existed.
