So I am back ....Wildman and QNX

 [1/3] from: fergus4::bellatlantic::net at: 12-Sep-2007 11:36

I have been interested in QNX ever since it was rumored to be the Amiga'a new OS to host the "Amiga Digital Environment" (or Amiga Everywhere concept) sometime back. It's small, clean and fast. Might be perfect to have Wildman ride atop... -Alan

I've read an interesting blurp from Carl in the internal R3 discussion group. I thought you'd want to know: I've been following QNX for many years. But, no, that's not REBOL OS kernel. But, it is funny... did you see the QNX whitepaper hybrid open source model". That's by my neighbor, Larry Rosen (lives here in Ukiah, you can see his house from mine.) I met with him earlier this summer and told him about my R3 "hybrid open source model"... small world, isn't it? Dan Dodge, the QNX guy, also knows about Rebol too. BTW, for the record, I don't consider an 80MB kernel source to be a microkernel." Small world indeed. :-) -- Regards, Henrik Mikael Kristensen

When I read about QNX's open source model I thought of R3's. Funny Alan Macleod
