Needless to say. However, it's pretty easy to arrange to save enough backups (daily, say, for the whole system) and as often as you want for contributions you are actively involved in, so it's pretty easy to repair if there is a `rogue'. Net, nobody bothers to screw things up as there's really no point in doing so, though once in a while an `errant' edit will cause some otherwise good-willed person to screw up. All-in-all the hassle of worrying about `protection' proves to be more trouble than just fixing things up when things go awry...

`rogue'. I've been running http://www.langreiter.com, a site with ~ 1200 page views per day*, with the unprotected Vanilla version 0.3.6 (http://www.langreiter.com/vanilla) since over a year now. It just works. I've experienced vandalism exactly __once__ (only 2-3 snips, though).

And if you really need password protection, Vanilla 0.5 with its user registration and session system will accomodate your needs. Have a look at it at http://213.229.9.170. Thanks David for the praise, BTW ;-) Best regards, -- Chris * 335603 more pages served by REBOL! ;-)

You are very welcome. Reading http://www.langreiter.com is one of my daily pleasures. I think it would have taken me much longer to find Rebol if it had not been for your praise of the environment as such a stunningly useful one.

Christian, I've just spent the last bit of the morning playing with vanilla on my system. It is definitely cool. Are you willing to release a preview of 0.5 yet? Gavin.

Oh crap...gee, do ya' think maybe I didn't mean to send that to the list? Sorry for the extreme mental lapse. Pardon me. (skulking away...) Gavin.
