Request for collaboration

Hello, I am working on a Rebol2 page on DocBase and I am interested into
collecting all the relevant Rebol2 knowledge out there.
There is a Rebol Documentation Project www.rebdocproj.org and I whish to
translate all the french doc (With the persmission of the authors) in
english. Would someone with good french knowledge cooperate in this task ?

Hello Giuseppe,
A single rebol documentation repository is a must have tool for rebol
community and this is the goal of Rebol Documentation Project.
Christophe Coussement (RebolTof) worked a lot to build rebdocproj.org
and even organized an article publishing process with a review
committee to ensure quality.
The Rebol Documentation project is not french speaking only and
already integrates documentation from Carl, Ladislav Mecir, John
Niclasen and other.
Now, Reboltof has no more time to maintain this website and asked me
to host it on my webserver which hosts already www.rebol-france.org,
the french portal.
Now, there is DocBase and the goal is almost the same. I supposed that
is focused on R3 but integrating knowledge concerning R2 is a good
idea. In fact, I suppose that R2 documentation will be used for R3
documentation.
I have no time to make translations but I'll post a message on the
french forum about your request. I hope you will find some help.
Some questions/ideas :
- Is all the content of rebdocproj can be integrated into Docbase ?
- Is there somebody responsible for maintaining the documentation
(team, committee or single person) ?
NB: Inside Rebol-France portal, there is a web page with many
hyperlinks pointing to other webpages related to Rebol. Maybe you'll
find some interresting things there :

Rebol Documentation Project is my ispiration for the DocBase pages about
Rebol 2. I don't wont to make something better as your project is already at
top level but I whish have the documentation (articles, guides, etc) in an
Wiki repository so every expert will be able to make additions and
modification when needed or in situation like the above where the maintainer
as no longer the time to maintain is project.

I suppose this too but I am not the person in charge for R3 documentation.
My effort is to create the R2 part and consolidate what has been created in
the past years. Then I will create a NEWBYE guide to R3 but everything else
is in the hands of Carl, Grabiele and the other components of the R3 team.

As I have structured the Rebol2 page, YES it should. There is only a
copyright problem. The article/guide authors should give their permission to
copy/translate the documentation to be published in DocBase.

I am responsible for the R2 part. I have just started it 2 weeks ago. If
someone else whish to join another pair of hands will be useful. The wiki
logic makes really a breeze the cooperation and when these hands will be
available a larger committe/team could be create for the supervision of
these pages.
