Hi,
I just hope changing /nowait refinement to /no-wait found it's way to
official docs :-) If not, why haven't you ask? :-)
Is there about to be html for of docs? Maybe REBOL community would like to
translate into native languages for better support?

Pekr,
We haven't had the chance to translate from PDF to HTML...no small task
with all the formatting. It's in the cue, just not at the top. Thanks for
the reminder!

REBOL Tech,
As much as I like html, wouldn't it be better to put the user guides in
Viewable format and use Carl's EasyVid viewer to look at it?
The existing easyvid.r data needs some work that I have put my hand up
to submit some. Just have this project to do then translate the
findings back into some documentation that might be useful to others.
The easyvid.r source code itself is really very nice. But It needs some
enhancements - the main ones being:
a. a tree format for the left side navigation with hide / expand on the
branches.
b. a scrollable view window on the right side.
Using View to see REBOL documentation would give some more exposure to
the capabilities of View.
Then the great browsing masses could use the PDF version and the people
who really want to use REBOL could View it. And the Viewers would get
the advantages of the click-to-run code examples that Carl put in
Easyvid.r

That's a very, very nice idea. So nice that I'm putting to the attention of
the Web_dialect list and thinking about it for the eText project Garold and
I are doing.

I'm sure there's an automatic free program to translate PDF to HTML on the
net that I came across recently. Does any one know it?

The task is no big deal if you had Magellan 4.2 on hand. The commercial
price is only $199.00 :)

There's a linux program called pdftohtml (very cunning I thought..) The
only
problem I found when trying is that it's useless.. It does everything
it's
supposed to - convert pdf to html - just not very well.. :/

Have a look at:
http://www.bcl-computers.com
They have an online pdf-html converter (although I thinks its limited to 5mb
files).
I also use their plugin for Acrobat called Magellan. This is a pdf - html
converter. Results vary from very good to 'of some use'.
They also have a product called Jade which will covert to rtf format. Give
them a try you should find them useful.
I think you can download demo versions - but you will need a full version of
Acrobat.
