APC covers REBOL
[1/4] from: atruter::labyrinth::net::au at: 15-Aug-2003 20:23
Just got my September copy of APC (Australian Personal Computer, a large
mainstream technology mag) and noticed that REBOL (plus a number of REBOL
related sites) got a full two-page spread. It encouraged folks to "give it
a go", so hopefully a few more Aussies will make there way onto the list.
;)

Ashley

I picked up a copy today from a newsagent. :^)
Generally a positive article concentrating on /Core. There is no mention of
IOS. Gabriele's PDF dialect gets a nice comment "The PDF output dialect is
extremely useful..." Oldes' Flash dialect is listed as a resource too.
Yes, it would be nice to see some more Aussies start waiving the REBOL flag
:^)

Brett.

I checked to see if it was in a local (NZ) bookshop today, but it's
the August one that's still on display.
Maybe someone should offer to do a REBOL column for APC while the
iron's hot?

If they would devote space to a regular column that would be impressive!
We need a database of concise howtos (RT style) for REBOL for popular
subjects.

Brett.
