Syntax File for EmEditor

 [1/7] from: louisaturk::coxinet::net at: 14-May-2003 8:47

Hi everyone, Has anyone made a REBOL syntax file for the EmEditor? Louis

yes there is one on the em site under user files... but it is fairly monocromatic. I made another but would rather work with the original author than just submit a new one. I am on a mac thousands of miles from my computers so I can't sent it to you till next week. but the script I used to generate the base of the syntax file is here: http://www.cs.uoregon.edu/~tomc/gen-syntax.r it does not generate an emeditor specific file just an em friendly file you will still have to add the editor specific parts to the syntax file (it has a known problem with core 2.5.5 missing 'natives!) Hi Louis, I put one up on their site, http://www.emurasoft.com/emeditor3/userfiles.php, a while back. I submitted a feedback requesting that multi-line string support (ie. begin: "{", end: "}") be added along with the ability to save display settings (my config has black text, blue comments, green strings and red words - just like the [old] online library scripts). Regards, Ashley

Do you have http://www.crimsoneditor.com/ which comes with a Rebol syntax file? -- Graham Chiu http://www.compkarori.com/vanilla REP

Ashley and Tom, Many thanks! EmEditor has proven to be very fast and useful. This makes it even better. Louis At 09:09 AM 5/15/2003 +1000, you wrote:
