Accessing Java from Rebol

 [1/2] from: eric::torreborre::leirios::com at: 20-Jun-2005 14:07

Hi, In the context of the API of our product, I think it could be good idea to provide our users with a dialect that enables them to call the major functions. What would be the standard/easiest way to access a java program from Rebol where something like a “session” must exist. Calling an executable from each Rebol instruction wouldn’t be practical. So? Sockets ? Rebol Native Interface (ala Java Native Interface)? I have seen this request on the cookbook’s requests, but I could find answers in the mailing list. Thanks, Eric TORREBORRE LTG Product Manager LEIRIOS 2C, Chemin de Palente 25000 Besançon Phone: +33 (0)3 81 47 22 66 Fax: +33 (0)3 81 40 01 09 <http://www.leirios.com/> www.leirios.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE This e-mail message and any attachments are only for the use of the intended recipient and may contain information that is privileged, confidential or exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
