Yes - and I do not use this address other than here. Very disturbing.
The note at the bottom had me laughing out loud. Prohibited indeed...
Well, these people have in one swift stroke made sure that nobody will

Yeah I've received that email but haven't bothered checking it out.
Though from what was in the email it might be some competition for
REBOL?

Hi,
Got the same here ! This is a new email address I'm using and haven't got
any spam on it until today. Now, I'm wondering how does RT will respond to
this. This is clearly unsolicitated spam from what could be a future
competitor... now either this is done with or without the authorization from
RT but I personnally think they/we should respond swiftly on the subject. In
either case, this is is clearly unprofessional from nqli and even if their
products is the way of the future, I won't even look into it further than
deleting their spam ! Period.
Best,
Chris

Yup, added a filter for it this morning to throw them to the bit bucket.

Ok, I'm back. Had a great trip. Meeting at Netscape for Internet
Developers/Technology Group went very well. It was a fun to give a
talk to folks who understand the distributed computing concept and
the importance of its future.
So much email... but, this one on nql caught my eye...
I've not received it, but my auto-despam filters are pretty high.
I would agree that it's probably not from ngli guys. That would
be pretty low. Besides, my attitude about nql is that REBOL pretty
much blows it away... We could make nql a dialect if we want that.

Apparently the rebol.org user list was crawled in Nov 2000 and Jan 2001.
The eScribe site which is currently active does not list the email address

The nqli email appears to be a simple straight-forward email directly to me

Address details are shown in the body of the reply messages at eScribe, so
they are not really doing a lot to filter out email addresses.

Some time ago I started doing it the other way around, filter what's
really for me to my inbox, what belongs to various lists to their
respectiv folders, the rest ends up in a spam folder that I check once
in a while. Since then reading mail has became much easier. :)

NQL - a REBOL dialect?
Just got wind of this NQL whitepaper at

Looks suspiciously like a favorite programming language I know. Nice try
anyway for $495.00
This bodes well for us REBOLutionaries.

How did you succeed in digging out this whitepaper?
Perhaps, the fact NQLI is spamming the participants to this list
