: CGI HTML TEXTAREAS and "wrap" attributes

 [1/3] from: sharriff:aina:med-iq at: 15-Nov-2000 13:35

Hi Elan, Tim I found out that either the "Wrap="virtual or wrap="physical" attribute in a TEXTAREA does not transmit Paragraph breaks when sending data over CGI in REBOL, strangely, putting <p> tags in the TEXTAREA translates truly into paragraphs. Are these attributes not supported in the object "decode-cgi" ? Sharriff Aina med.iq information & quality in healthcare AG

I'm late to this thread, but if it helps any, here are a few links that cover the idiosyncracies of HTML forms and wrapping within Textareas: http://www.hut.fi/u/jkorpela/forms/textarea.html http://www.hut.fi/u/jkorpela/forms/index.html I hope these shed some light on the issue, Ed
